Practice Owner, Dr. Donna Slater, graduated from OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997, soon after graduation she started working at All Pets. She also worked for a busy practice in Tulsa for 5 years. She started her own equine practice in 2005, called Lakeside Veterinary Service. She currently is a board member for the Oklahoma Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory. Dr Slater’s interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, soft tissue surgery, behavior and exotics. She resides in Stillwater with her husband, Dr. Hank Jann, and their 4 horses and 5 dogs. She is interested in natural horsemanship and shows in AQHA. She also participated in AKC obedience and Agility classes. In her spare time she can be found at her grandson’s baseball games or granddaughter’s gymnastic meets.
